STEMME at the Le Bourget Aerosalon 2011

Le Bourget - The main topics of the Aerosalon this year were the "way of Green Flying" presented mainly by "Solarimpulse" and the "way of flying unmanned" presented by a number of suppliers of UAVs. For both topics STEMME presented its products.

The STEMME S10-VT(X) as the best motorglider of the world - a very high efficient aircraft with lowest carbon footprint and high engine performances- that was used for long distance soaring-flight record of 2463km with less than 10l of fuel. In the UAV-Market STEMME together with SAGEM presented the new developments on the Patroller. The Patroller can be used in dual mode®-version elective as an UAV or as a manned aircraft. It is possible to switch between both modes within seconds. Additionally the utility-aircraft Stemme S15 was presented and brought very good feedback.

The exhibition was very effective for STEMME both in selling as in advertising. Two important purchase-contracts and several reservations for the S-15 were concluded. Many new cooperations between system-suppliers and customers were started. The Aerosalon this year was a complete success for STEMME.
